Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using Boop with Penny ("Boop"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be 18 years of age or older to use Boop.

2. Purpose of the App

Boop is strictly a dog meetup application. It is designed to connect dog owners for friendly, safe meetups between their dogs. Any use of Boop for romantic, sexual, or any purpose other than dog-related social connections is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.

3. Community Guidelines

By using Boop you agree to:

• Use the app only for dog meetup purposes
• Be honest about yourself, your identity, and your dog
• Treat other users with respect and kindness
• Not engage in harassment, threats, or abusive behavior
• Not misrepresent your biological sex or account type
• Not contact other users for romantic or sexual purposes
• Report any behavior that violates these guidelines
• Meet in public places and take appropriate safety precautions

4. Prohibited Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Creating fake or misleading profiles
• Uploading photos that are not of yourself or your dog
• Harassment or bullying of other users
• Sharing other users' personal information without consent
• Using the app to solicit money or services
• Attempting to circumvent safety features
• Any illegal activity conducted through the app

5. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time for violation of these Terms of Service, without notice. Users who are reported multiple times or found to be misusing the app will be permanently banned.

6. Safety

Boop provides safety features including preference filters, reporting, and blocking. However, Boop is not responsible for the conduct of its users in person. When meeting another user:

• Always meet in a public place
• Tell someone where you are going
• Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, leave
• Report any concerning behavior through the app immediately

7. User Content

By uploading photos or information to Boop, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display that content within the app. You retain ownership of your content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you share.

8. Limitation of Liability

Boop is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, interactions with other users, or meetups arranged through the app. Use Boop at your own risk.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of your state of residence.
